About My Poupette Recommended Sellers

These are our recommended eBay sellers of designer products. While many more sellers on eBay deserve to be on this list, they simply haven’t applied yet. We hope this information will address your questions and ease any concerns when dealing with My Poupette Recommended Sellers (MPRS).

Expectations and Realities
Do we expect perfection from My Poupette Recommended Sellers? Absolutely! But is it realistic? Not entirely—they’re human, after all. Is there a possibility that you could purchase a counterfeit item from an MPRS? Yes, though it’s highly unlikely. Here’s why: First, we endorse sellers who have extensive experience with authentic designer bags, often possessing more knowledge than the stores themselves! Second, if anything seems even slightly suspicious on eBay, we hear about it immediately.

Unfortunately, we don’t have the resources to monitor every seller’s auctions daily, so our endorsements are built on a foundation of trust. MPRSs are required to adhere to a strict Code of Ethics. If this code is violated, sellers are reprimanded, warned, and in some cases, lose our endorsement, depending on their response and the circumstances. Over the years, we’ve discontinued endorsements for about five or six sellers. Some have left the business, while others chose not to adhere to our rigorous standards. We wish them all the best.

What Happens if a Mistake Occurs?
In the rare event that an MPRS sells an item that turns out to be counterfeit, we fully expect the seller to act swiftly. This means notifying the buyer of the issue and providing a full and immediate refund. It’s the right thing to do. We also require that we be informed immediately. Of course, we prefer that the item was never listed or sold in the first place, but mistakes can happen. In our experience, any instance of a fake being listed by an MPRS has never been intentional—our endorsement is too valuable for that. After such an incident, sellers often become extra vigilant, taking great care with every item they list. And that’s a good thing!

Our Commitment to Trust
The online buying community has come to trust My Poupette for what it stands for: Authenticity, Integrity, Honesty, Fairness, and Consumer Advocacy. This means that people place full trust in the sellers we endorse. We never want that trust to be misplaced. If you ever encounter an issue with an MPRS—whether it’s related to the product, descriptions, customer service, or anything else—please let us know immediately so we can address it. We have little patience for MPRSs who fail to uphold the high standards expected of them. However, please avoid making blanket or unsubstantiated accusations. When reporting a problem, be specific and detailed so we can effectively assist you.

Overall, we’re very pleased and proud of our MPRSs. They take their responsibilities seriously and work diligently to offer genuine products to the designer-buying world.
So, when you see the My Poupette logo on eBay or any other website, click on it to verify that the seller is indeed endorsed by My Poupette.
